Our History

Yuan Sang was set up on the 1st May, 1965. Our company started as a trading company dealing with suppliers from China , Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Hong Kong.

Currently, we mainly trade with dried seafood products like dried shrimps, anchovies, ikan bilis, salted fish, dried scallop, dried cuttlefish and flatfish etc. We also trade with dried food products like mushrooms and various spices.

Since our establishment, we have built up a wide market network, both locally and internationally. Our customers include government organization like the prisons, army camps and private enterprise like the super markets, restaurants, food centers and provision shops. Our products are re-packed for export to countries in the Middle East, North America and Australia. Our total sales averages S$ 15 million per annum.

In order to compete in this tough arena, we have embarked on a quality journey by achieving the ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP certification to ensure that our products meets the related food quality control requirements.
